Assuming Batam.

Do I buy ferry tickets online? How to get to Amaris Hotel (or any hotel) from arrival?

If batam, sometime buying ferry ticket at the counter will be much more cheaper. (unless you going during weekday, some ferry has online promo)

if I am not wrong, Amaris Hotel is at Nagoya hill. You can take ferry from harbourfront (vivo there) and alight at either harbourbay ferry terminal or batam center ferry terminal. Check with hotel if they provide free shuttle pick up from the ferry terminal otherwise you have to take cab there (think IDR50,000 to IDR55,000)

Hi buddy, how much does it usually cost for 2D1N? Other than hotel and ferry, what else do I need to pay?

BTW, what are the differences between the different ferrys other than timings? Thanks.

How much really depends what you want to do.

For water sports and go kart, Harris Resort at Waterfront City is recommended as they are next door to the resort.

Ferry has few types but mainly what class seats you buy and your departure/return time.
