Not quite that high, and there's some risk involved since SDIC coverage is limited to $75,000.
If you know there will be at least a 6 month holding period, and if you want the highest degree of safety (and a reduction of the time period when the funds will not be fully SDIC covered), then some or all of the funds can be held in a 6 month T-Bill.
Another possibility if you used CPF Ordinary Account funds for housing (on another property in this case) is to repay those funds (including accrued interest if you wish), then use the OA funds again for housing. OA pays 2.5%/year interest during the whole calendar months funds are parked.
