Try switch control....google tsum tsum switch control to get an idea how it works.

At a glance, Switch controls similar to gesture controls?
Not what I have in mind but will explore it as well.

Was hoping to use the Shortcut feature in iOS.

If not use singpass to check in. Way faster.

Singpass requires total 3 clicks as well.

I added Siri Shortcuts via the SingPass app and add that shortcut to my homescreen.

So for now: Tap on the shortcut, scan and tap ‘check in’.
