hi,
wish to seek some advice on this.

my home fiber broadband and mobile line is coming to an end of contract.

Home is using M1 fiber, $39 per month, still ok and acceptable.
only use for internet movies and WIFI.

Mobile line, is under Singtel.. under some corporate discount..
plan around $46.55 with 3G local data
talkmore $5
datamore, 4G, $32

monthly is always around $100+

The thing is this:
singtel don't seem to be giving me any sort of voucher for my handset purchase.
at most, only $80..

while i received a letter from M1, which say giving me $150 off handset if i were to switch.
of course, i be losing my corporate discount..

I'm eyeing a samsung note 4.
likely to be buying during PC show time.

Should i switch or remain?
had to be frugal and save what we could.

If you port over to M1, you can combine it with fibre broadband for the multi-service saver discounts. Just need to have 1 additional line.

Or can check with M1 if they have corporate discount for your company?

yeah, m1 do offer a 15% discount if i were to port over.
like you said, i need to have an another line..

hows the network for M1?

i doubt my current employer do have any corporate discount, a small local setup..

The network so far so good.. been with them for 12 years. But reception is always location-dependent regardless of telco. But generally singtel and M1 on par and better than starhub

Can try calling M1 ask about corporate discounts lo. no harm asking, maybe have haha..

Or it may also be worth to get the additional line as you get extra $250 handset rebate every year for one main line

If you have 1 FBB and 2GSM lines you will be entitle for MSS which is 15% on the two mobile line subscription. If the mobile line you are porting over and signing up for corporate discount rate the MSS will not work.

Depending on the number of mobile lines, multiple-line discount can work out better than corporate plan's.
