Should I get the iPhone XS Max?

My contract is up for re-contract and I’m contemplating whether to get the XS Max now or wait till the new iPhone to come out and get the iPhone 11 Pro Max at a cheaper price.

Currently using an iPhone 8 Plus so very used to the form factor of the larger phone. Can’t really afford the newest phone so my Budget is under $1000 really.

Please give me some advice. Tia!

iPhone XS is not really a huge upgrade over iPhone 8/X. Getting it will just be a waste of money.

It's either you go for iPhone 11 or 11 Pro Max. Cough out the extra $$, or don't even upgrade imo. Just switch to SIM Only plan and wait out.

Do you have CIS? Singtel's CIS offers for XO plans are rather enticing. For me I'm riding on my mom's CIS XO 108 plan for just 80.32 a month. Price of the iPhone 11 Pro Max stands at 318 for 64GB, 488 for 256GB and 918 for 512GB.

Gotcha. The newer and crisper displays are so tempting. Plus my 8+'s battery health isn't great now! Seems like i'll likely wait for the Pro Max to get cheaper when the new iPhone is released!

Unfortunately I don't looking at the XO 48 plan and the 11 Pro Max is going for whopping $1088 while the XS Max is going for only $348!
