Last Friday already used up 3/4 of my capital to half my losses.

Then today even sharper decline again. I feel like fighting a losing battle with my reserves depleted

Should I continue to average out my losses, hold or sell away to cut lose?
If people like you don't buy, who is there to offload from those who are selling?

I don’t understand why so many people enter the market at such an early stage. Clearly this tariff war is going to be long drawn and chances of it worsening into some else is quite high. Even if most countries wish to negotiate, you should know negotiation takes time until the agreement is signed. I think it’s better to hold cash first

nobody can really make the decision for you without knowing your personal situation and exact details.

Just purely to make an assessment of the current situation, i think there is a slither of hope there will be a 30-90 days reprieve for countries to renegotiate or probably a specific set of countries to renegotiate. The reason being that between the announcement till execution the Trump administration did not give much thought and the stock market drop much more than they anticipated and Trump is not exactly stupid although he acts like a typical school bully without compassion nor logic.

If however, he does nothing then you can expect the markets to tank or enter into a fresh crisis mirroring that of covid or even entering into great depression like 1930s in the worst case ultimately. (ie, Trumps maintains his tariff, including the addtional 50% on Chyna as he likes to put it so totally 104 % on Chyna, including a 500k to 1.5million USD on all manufactured Chyna ships calling on USA ports + Germany the locotive engine of Europe falling into great depression due to failure of its major car exports industry, likewise for Toyota)

That the deadline will be extended is my best guess. (40% chance)

It's a clown market, up and downs based on no reason. NVDA went up 10 percent last night and then closed at minus 1.3 percent. Don't try to time this market, I am sitting out for a month at least.

You need at least a year. It's a prolonged bear market. Cheap stocks everywhere, money to be made everywhere

Slowly buy don’t one shot buy. Nobody can claim the bottom. If one claims to be able to predict bottom he is either lying or is a billionaire.

You averaged down too aggressively and too quickly, I've learnt over the years to portion my war chest and buy the dip over a longer period, because you'll never know when the market will actually bottom out. it usually takes at least a few months in a bad crash to hit the bottom. Even longer in a gradual bear market.
