Should I trade my g3 for a z2 ?

Laggy because you didn't access hidden phone menu to unlock the cores. To conserve battery, by default G3 only uses 2 of 4 cores. Go google "LG G3 lag" and you will learn how to resolve the lag issue. Of course, lag can also be caused by heavy multi-tasking, loading too many apps simultaneously or enabling screen animations.

No, G3 is better than Z2 because:

1) It has a bigger, sharper screen with much smaller bezels;

2) It has a superior camera;

3) It has louder speaker and call reception;

4) It has removable battery to replace/upgrade to extend battery life

No don't do it unless you really need waterproof phones. Otherwise the g3 wins in almost every aspect. I have a close friend who swears by the g3 and the new g4 is even better now.
