hi so im currently running a zotac gtx 1660ti amp edition with a ryzen 5 3600, and i want to run games like star citizen better. is it a good time to upgrade my gpu? i was thinking something along the lines of a 3060 or 3060ti, but im not sure how i would sell my current gpu, and where to get a new one. im quite young aswell so trying to haggle at places in sim lim square is kind of intimidating. what should i do?

You can sell your gpu here or carousell, hghh demand. But still not a good time to buy gpu, low stock unreasonable price.

The game you want to run your spec is more than enough unless the PC isn't configure properly
especially driver have not be installed?

If PC is slow/lagging, suggest bring to a shop let them troubleshoot for you.
i update my drivers regularly, and the minimum specs required are really the BARE minimum to launch the game. the in-game experience and playing it is a whole different story. running on all low settings alone gives me about 20-30fps, and id like to run the game better

im not sure what could be configured,, im sure theres no virus of any sort in my pc and i clean and scan it pretty often

You build yourself or brought from someone?
This clearly looks like a pc performance issue.
Opt you try a clean install of Windows. (Not reset).

Update:
- BIOS
- Clean install of Windows
- Install AMD chipset driver
- Hardware component driver like graphic card and etc.

Try again if not it could be a storage device issue meaning the SSD/HDD have issue.
