I enquire before, it will cost like $100+ to do it... So either you do it yourself or get a new case. As for me, i sold my old case and gt a new 1 with bigger window.

But frankly, it will not be cheap. Your case cost $69 and the mod job cost like $1xx. Worth to do it or just get a new case?

Cutting isnt the problem. Its taking responsibility for the end result which makes many not do this job.

I can't help but please be reminded of the old adage "measure twice, cut once" :vijayadmin:

Its not cheap to cut. If you do not have any tools, it will cost even more to cut that hole.

Your chassis is at around $6x. Doing the mod without proper tools will cost more than your chassis. Giving shop to do also will charge even more.

Rather you take all that money and get a better chassis.

Most of the chassis with windows are as low as $55. One good example Cooler Master 311. Does not justify to cut a hole for your chassis.

Other than that is the risk involve. Partly there is a reason why uvinium actually close down. Do you wanna bare all the risk if the shop does not do the job properly? Or damage your chassis? Or would you push the blame to the shop?

Most of the folks do agree on buy a new case instead of paying for that window.

But if I were to diy?
What do I need... im actually int to diy and I think I can manage but Im afraid I do not have the proper tools... thou I calculate a lot b4 drilling or sawing...

But maybe now I need some suggestion when doing diy? Like the acrylic n saw?

Im also thing if for the window paying like more than the case is nt worth it...

But then diy I wont mind... sad tt my prev sec sch dont allow me to do it... Ive been a ass during the dnt times lol...

The acrylic is cheap. Depends on the thickness also.

You will need a jig saw. Which i have found out that the cheapest is already $69 at veerasamy road near jln besar.

There is a few ways to mount the acrylic.

Just 4 holes at corners for both chassis and acrylic and screw in. Behind use a nut to secure.

Another is using a frame to hold it in place. Iirc it is called thee H frame. Might need to drill in and mount the frame. Slide in the acrylic.

Overall cost almost $90.

Not unless you want the cheapest is to use velcro stick on. Cut a hole. buy a acrylic cut to be bigger than the hole. Stick velcro from the outside. This will look fugly.
