Should red wine by served at room temperature or chilled?

As above? Why some people say chilled is better, some say room temperature?

Personal preference mainly.

But if u must insist on technicality.

RED wine should be serve at room temperature - France Room Temp. Not Singapore room temperature.

Yes, about 16 degree from a wine chiller.
Has anyone encountered problems with their wine chillers?
My months-old Brandt top-of-the-range wine chiller emits sounds from the compressor from day 1
and has not started leaking water!!
