Thanks Justin and Kusanagi again.

As per PM,

<quote>

*edit* i found a more simple solution for the background problem

simply delete the Background.png file and it'd use the wallpaper that you have set under Settings>Wallpaper

however take note that not all theme allows you to do that. i'm on Suave HD and it seems to be working alright

<unquote>

Inside the asymetrical HD LS theme, the background image is "BG.jpg"

I simply removed the file (copied to my desktop) but after I respring-ed, the background pic just show a big black background with an error question mark in the centre.

Did you try yourself for the LS theme?
It worked?

I looked at the Lockbackground.html file and tried deleted the line:

<img src="BG.jpg" width="320" height="480">

But it didnt help too.

Anyone can help?

Thanks in advance

Thanks speedster.
I will post entire in the next post.
Sorry to trouble but while you are at it, can you kindly teach me how to adjust the overlay+time+date to somewhere in the middle, as compared to slightly above middle?

Have to trouble you on the "BG.jpg too"
The BG.jpg is the background pic.
Have it in the folder

Thanks

Can you please upload your modified widget ?, the one that is uploaded doesn't show weather icons. One more thing, is it possible widget to be on the top (1st row) , not at the bottom of the SB?

Thanks in advance !

Here you go. Took some time to fix the layout organization.

http://db.tt/ShWK63ih

1. Just open wallpaper.html and search for #widgetcontainer. Change the value of the "top" property. Lesser value means going up the screen.

2. It is currently set to update time and date every 30 seconds to conserve thread execution times, less frequecy means less power consumption. Just open the file config.js and change the value of the variable "clockInterval". Please note that a possible side effect of this value set more than 1 is when the initial page load of the widget does not concide with the 0-second time, the update maybe late with that frequency, which I think is acceptable.

Enjoy.

@speedster bro, your html scripting is always so neat!

To all bros - General note:
1) All who are modifying ur scripts, take a look at var MiniIcons (weather icons), as there are alot of copying and pasting of scripts, I noticed most of the scripts out there have a duplicate of "17". Open up some of your LockBackground.html do a search of the words bolded by me, and you'll notice. One of the 17 should be "18".

2) var updateInterval and var clockInterval is a very critical integer to set. I've tried and concurred, in synergy with being battery-optimised and initial loading efficiency of the LS, I've set both values to 30 for all of my LS.
var updateInterval = 30 //in mins
var clockInterval = 30 //in seconds

Pls go thru all your scriptings of ur LS bros. Setting the above 2 values is very impt. After a 100% full charge at 12mn before my bedtime, waking up at 7am, my batt depletes only 1% to 99%. That is after 2 alarms snooozing and vibrating. Before that my values were 5, 15 respectively. My batt percentage was 94%.

It's a custom LS I did myself from resources I got from different people. Took most of my morning to set it up. Uploaded it to Mediafire. Weather has already been set to Singapore and it updates every 60 mins. Edit Setup/Config.js if you want to change that. Also, you might want to change the wallpaper unless you want to rock it with my name. Just drop your desired wallpaper to Backgrounds and rename it 4.png.

Enjoy!

Browsing iPhone on deviantART

thanks for sharing.... so i just paste the whole folder in winterboard?

Asymmetric HD LS with Movable Date + Time

Current Script:
Thanks SPeedster but still shows blank black page
thanks for the clock adjustment trick but I have a overlay (png file) that requires some major png editing so I pass on the clock / date adjustment

Current script:

Just had the time during breakfast to break my head on this.

Here's the version with the movable clock and date (just adjust the "top" property of the #clockcontainer and #datecontainer styles):

http://db.tt/umnkJEJ9

Now, with regards to the blank background, it seems WinterBoard has something to do with it. It doesn't act similar to SpringBoard themes. I initially assumed that making "User Lock Background" priority over any LS (and as long as the image used in the HTML is named "LockBackground.png/LockBackground@2x.png" it would supersede the LS's background. Sadly it doesn't work like that so far in my testing. It would be great if anybody can send me a LockBackground.html that is said to be working with the built-in "User Lock Background" so I can check how it's done.

So for now, what I can suggest is you use Wallpaper JPEGifier from Cydia. This mod works with that.

Didn't have time to check the clock and date javascripts though ;-) So it is still the original.

Do you mean you want this calendar or widget in your lockscreen?
Or a calendar similar to what @sacredsoul shared below (the one with the TAG watch)?

Erm, possible if can I have your calendar widget? I'm using Prestige HD theme as well. But your theme you customize it so well. Very nice! Do you mind sharing your entire theme?

1. Here are the calendar widgets, they are generic.

Black Clock Face Version:
http://db.tt/O6LzUJEn

White Clock Face Version:
http://db.tt/Ognbdl42

Both have the exactly the same engine, diff is only the clock layer image. Was lazy to merge them. ;-)

To modify vertical location, just change the "top" property of the #widgetcontainer style.

To show the "seconds" hand and additional tweaks, just open the file "configME.js" and modify the settings.

2. I actually did not modify anything from the Prestige-HD theme I just re-arranged the icons. ;-)
