Hi, u go to setting and set the region to japan will do and use MIM and write anything u like as a carrier and enable emoji as well.. hope this help

like tat when u change region to japan , if ppl call u their number format also screwed up right ? because if u set to singapore then it will appear without any (-) sign to u ...

No ah, even when i set the region to japan when someone call me from SG, MY even bangkok also, it just appear the caller name without any sign wo.. and i think quite cool also with the japanese wording instead of english..

MIM & 5 icon dock works properly with 2.2 now? MIM is cool but has bugs, once you edit the carrier logo with it, the scrolling function (if the carrier tag is too long) will disappear

download and install five dock app from cydia.

but i wouldn't do that if i were u. i experience icons messing up each time i re-spring, apparently it is a bug resulting from five dock app. at least that's what happen to me. i have since uninstalled it liao

been using five docks from 2.01 till now 2.2......its working fine even after every re-spring.

anyhow, regarding to the jailbreaking, yes it can be restored. and no it won't void the warranty. search the forum leh. i did the search not only here but read on other forums too.

one question, why would u want to restore it after u jail broke it? i cannot imagine using an iphone with having jail broke!

i downloaded some wallpaper packs from Cydia-->sections-->wallpapers.
in winterboard, checked "user wallpaper", and then in settings chose the wallpaper that i downloaded. But my lockscreen changed to that wallpaper, and not my springboard wallpaper.

is it meant to be tat way, or how do i change my springboard wallpaper?

using wallper in winterboard is for lockscreens. it serves that purpose. if u wan ur own wallpaper in SB, u'll needa ssh into ur iphone n edit the theme of ur choice and overwrite this file in the SAURIK.theme folder "Wallpaper.png" with pixels for 320x480. den select the theme in winterboard and taadaaa... wad u wanted hopes this lengthy wall of text helps. if u like visuals...

the method is exactly the same, the only difference is using FUGU with winscp for windows. hmmm maybe other uusers can help out? cos i learn everything from that web
