my result sucks

Hi,

My result sux.

3dmark.jpg
:s27: .

I am using the following

I am using system with the following specification

MotherBoard
GIGABYTE GA-81848P-G
http://www.gigabyte.com.sg/MotherBoard/Products/Products_Spec_GA-8I848P-G.htm

PROCESSOR
Intel P4 2.4GHz

VGA-CARD
GIGABYTE RADEON 9200

RAM
1GB (2x512) CORSAIR DDR 400 (cost me about 400S$)

HDD
SATA 200GB (WD)

To my all efforts i am lagging at this machine when i run any game.
Take example for D2 (diablo 2), every thing works ok untill a boss die and every thing get freeze for about 4-5 sec.
That is always critical time to pick goldy items, but my system sucks there.

Any one have any idea?

Waqar.

You should upgrade your VGA card. Get a GeForce 6600GT for $250+ and your score will increase significantly.

Hi guys i need some advice. My current score in 3dmark 05 is very low even though i have Leadtek 6600GT AGP at Stock performance. I have tried the official nvidia driver 81.95 and the Xtreme-G 81.95v2 but the score difference between them is also quite little with the nvidia driver having 2864 and Xtreme-G driver having 2902.

Even my friend with a 6600 AGP card has better performance than me when playing F.E.A.R with his 1.7Ghz and 786 ram.

I was wondering if i buy another stick of 512 PC2100 (because my fsb is 400 only so cant fully utilise PC3200 ram and dont intend to upgrade my CPU) and make it dual channel can my score improve by a lot? My specs are listed below. All help is appreciated thanks.

Intel Pentium 4 2.4Ghz 400 FSB, Non Hyperthreading
MSI Neo2-865PE PLS
Seagate 5600RPM Pata HDD
1x Kingston PC2100 512MB ram
