Custom rom I Don know. But if it's able to install the app, it will work

bought this case today .. very interesting indeed uses the rock software download from their site and uses the serial no given. It detects using the sensor of the phone and the front flap is thin plastic thus can see through the clock and the application as above shown.

Slim profile, easy to use..... will try few more days .. so far i like it no need little windows and smudges of the windows from the screen on my phone...

this is my personal review on the dot view case (with some comparison to the s-view).

not too sure isit because im using a 9mm tempered glass protector but the front cover doesnt lay down on the screen, and it makes the whole using experience annoying to say the least. the screen itself is unresponsive, it didnt help that the front cover wasnt touching the screen fully. brightness is weird as well, it isnt any where like what the pict in ads show whereby the colors are solid, rather its muffled like what gapboy has posted.

the app itself is not exactly good, after a long while not flipping over the cover, the screen will fail to lit up when u finally flip it.

all in all, even though the dot view cover has a slight advantage of utilizing the whole screen and is probably slimmer and better looking (subjective) than s-view, imo it is not worth it to trade those qualities for the ease of use.

Just gotten this case, the pros I could say it is thinner than Samsung S-view cover but as said by previous poster the flap issue as I'm using glass protector too. Not to sure after using for sometime it will be flatten down.

The flap is relatively thin material hope it don't break after some bending here n there. The app was not full fledge yet as I'm using 'poweramp' music player somehow the control couldn't work for this, anyone using default player could verify it work?

The app when you enable the auto screen function, it will stay awake thru out til the time you set it to disable, hopefully it won't cause any battery drain effect.

Miss call/SMS alert is there but is not design for you to preview it. As this app is using the screen front sensor, if your hand were to cover it manually it will toggle the lock screen.

PS I'm using custom ROM/kernal.

Overall is not bad casing for the price, but lacking of what S-view cover clear window screen as fold back I'm still able to capture photo thru the camera.

hey yes im using the default music player, tried with google music too and it worked fine

For $20+ case it is good for its usage and provide a slight privacy due to the thin plastic flap at the front and not transparent window like S-View.

Sensitivity is a different level on this case compared to S-View as the technology is not via magnet control but via sensor and their own Dr.V software which i find it quite initiative.

Overall i rate this case 7.8/10 as per own review on this case.

Great to hear default player is working. Not sure why poweramp not working with it. Possible to try using and see if it work for u?

Anyone experience overnight draining? I set sleep timer from 12am to 7am by right auto screen should be disabled. But i woke up it dropped 40%.
