Thanks all for the suggestions, intros and what to take note... In the end i was at JEMS for dinner, so went to Connect IT at level 4 and tried out all the 3 that i mentioned and a few more that some had suggested.

In the end... Think my ears leaning more to bass... I got the Shure SE215 at $149!! Like the bass that it produced and yet still quite good with the other notes and vocal are not "drowned" by the bass.

Showed it to my gf/wife-to-be and told her the price...
Her comments: "you spend $150 for a earphone??!!!!"
But after she tries it...
Her comment: "WOW!!!!"

I really like it personally, and now my gf/ wife-to-be too, who's now thinking of dumping her existing pair and asking me to consider sponsering half... :s13:

Think will bring her to try and buy her a pair next month.

if you like bass you should have gone for the SE215LTD (blue colour)

i love mine.

Hey does connect it sell se215 blue as well? I cant decide i wan normal or blue ~.~ i listen mostly to chinese and kpop :o

Personally I'd go Yamaha EPH-100 for a bassy IEM around this price range

Got myself the normal haha. Tried both but the blue dont really appeal much to me :D
