For all the crappy website, waste-my-time customer service at the city check-ins, the service is pretty dependable once you get on the plane itself. I think it is a credit to the crew rather than the mgmt.

I won't say it is significantly better than its rivals such as Emirates (never try before), but at least better than some ang mo carriers.

If so. This is still an ok one to get and keep.

Flew Emirates recently. Interacted with quite a few ground staff who were rather cold in their responses (with a few exceptions). Cabin crew was decent. SIA is much better. But I like Cathay most.

Hope oil prices keep going down..SIA should be benefitting from cheaper price. With scoot and part of tiger airline..they should ride the wave in 2015!! Going to aim this counter!!
