Vesak Day (Visakha Bucha Day) in BKK

Any suggestion on which temple to visit or where the bigger scale celebration will be held at?

don't know which temple bro. but if you go please take photo and share. i am always amazed by thailand temple's always very big nice and beautiful all the details of the temple wall and roof etc very nice.

Since u always there in Bkk and nothing to do, should start visit the temples to see first hand the grandness. Instead I am amazed by some grand events the temples organized. Already booked air tix for Vesak day as well as booked hotel for July candle festival at Ubon Rachathani. Waiting to book July air tix when got promotion. :D both trip going solo, if any bro here interested to tag along these two events, do PM me and see we can make some arrangement or not.

Ok lah. I got go temple once in awhile. This year haven do donation to temple yet.

If can will just go any temple instead cause normally big event day really too crowded le.

But if want maybe can try Wat Traimit or Wat Saket.

A 57-year-old taxi driver has been fined 3,000 baht and lost his licence for charging a foreign passenger 6,000 baht for a trip from Suvarnabhumi airport to Sathon area of Bangkok, and not using the fare...

This kind of drive is kum lan.

Maybe it happened this way, driver asking 600 bahts but kum gong passenger listen until 6000 bahts, or maybe mistook 1k note as 100 note. Then driver greedy just diam diam take. Kum gong passenger realised later his kum gong-ness and go report. Of cos when report wont say onwself how gong right? So driver kena. =:p

anything is possible. And in this case there is a possibility that one of them is a kum gong!!

since I decided to go bkk alone on late aug for 4 days.

any suggestions on how to spend my time?

plan to make a suit.
