[SIC] Affordable PA Plan

Sharing an affordable PA plan that has gone under the radar. This plan does not have job class restrictions and covers the necessary like medical expenses due to accident, hospital cash benefits, infectious disease and food poisoning.

To note that the conditions for claim may be slightly more stringent as it is explicitly stated in their exclusion clause. Just to highlight 2 of them to note

Exclusions

- the insured person taking part in any professional sports or in any sports for which the insured person would or could earn or receive any form of prize money, donation, sponsorship, award or certificate of any kind


-Any recreational activity where the following conditions are not met: - the insured person must comply with all safety procedures, such as wearing safety equipment and following rules and regulations; whether specifically advised or generally expected of a reasonable person, and - where guidance and supervision of licensed guides or instructors are available, the recreational activity must be carried out under the guidance and supervision of licensed guides or instructors of the tour operator or activity provider;

“Personal Accident” insurance isn’t too popular in this forum because it doesn’t really serve an essential insurance need. I certainly wouldn’t buy it before you’ve bought Disability Income Insurance (DII). DII is much more important.

If you really want to buy PA insurance then I’d first take a look at the Aviva MINDEF/MHA group PA rider if you’re eligible.
