Have you tried Nanyang Sauce's variety of soya sauce?
They're produced using the traditional way by fermenting organic, non-GMO soya beans and pristine glacial water in bespoken vats.

Heard of this brand

But any idea where they actually produce it?

The traditional way is in vats, don’t think Singapore got the space.

Taste like high end Japanese restaurant grade soy sauce.

Can be found in Donki Donki. Just slightly below $10 for 1L. Produced in Japan(label in Japanese words) ingredients contain alcohol.

IMHO the outcome depends on what sort of dishes. Say if you are using on Cantonese style steam fish sauce, it may not achieve tat authentic taste.

When comes to soy sauce prawn, it's not so obvious since there's other ingredients such as Chinese cooking wine, oyster sauce tat goes into the mix. It's ok to even use them on black pepper crab.

I think if this soy sauce you eat till slightly drunk...I'd be more worried for your blood pressure/ kidneys

But I think it is important to highlight this alcohol ingredient, maybe some people have allergy to alcohol or maybe religious reasons cannot consume.
