I don't remeber having posted my latest hootz, but anyway, here's a mini PC'd gotten to replace the Intel N100 based mini PC in my living room, I wanted something with a little more 'oomph'. So I went online and snagged this at what seemed like a reasonable price given its specs:

System Specs - AMD R7 6800H, 32GB DDR5 4800MHz, AMD 680M iGPU, 500GB SSD (will upgrade to a spare 4TB SSD I have lying around)

It has enough ports for my simple needs, and is powerful enough to handle some some video ripping (using MakeMKV, Handbrake) and audio ripping. Tried some older games like UT3, COD Modern Warfare Remastered, Warhammer 40K Boltgun and it ran them flawlessly....good enough for me at 1080P (on my 4K 60Hz TV).

Edit - Reused my old spare G613 keyboard and newly acquired G304 to type this message, as well as to game with, they perform excellently. (y)

Really? 'Grats bro, how much didcha pay for yours? Same or better specs? I got mine from Amazon Sg, and was able to use 200SGD worth of online Sg voucher (to purchase 210SGD worth of Amazon Gift cards IIRC) so I effectively paid 200+ SGD nah nia for the mini PC.

Very nice indeed! SHoutout to a fellow AMD mini PC guy!:D I think yours come with a660M iGPU which is pretty good as well, solid mini PC for light gaming (like mine) and some good productivity horsepower as well (like mine).(y)

Edit - I like that yours has both a HDMI and DP, I would have liked to have one of each like yours as I prefer Display Port over HDMI.

Liew.. tempt me sia.. ok Endure.. I told myself. not to spend. save for rainny days lol

You know HWZ rules. Hoot now, talk later. :ROFLMAO:

In all honesty, I was not expecting the pad to be so fun to use.
It is more of a speed pad but it is extremely silky and buttery to play on yet still very controllable.
Probably can make it more balanced by using full sized skates as I am on dot skates.

I am hoping Intel released the 12 P-core only Bartlett Lake so I can reuse my LGA1700 platform.
Pointless to upgrade now for me since CPUs are more or less at a plateau and my 14900KS can still tahan most games quite well. AMDs new Ryzen 9000 series CPUs with 3D V-Cache on both chiplets (CCDs), effectively doubling the L3 cache. This would result in a 16-core processor with 192MB of L3 cache. This will be interesting if Nova Lake fails. :)

Interested to know the price just for knowing - i thought 780m should be more affordable too since 890m and 8060s (aiming for this next or the best mobile gpu i can get if not going for desktop rig) are out or soon more available.

Currently running 6900hx with same igpu. Scrapped through wukong with Xess(?) on 1080p all medium and selective ram allocations. (22 to 43 fps)
