Got mine from funan challenger. 1408.

Any freebies from Challenger?

What color did you get? I called Challenger a few days back, and their colors are limited. No more gold for both 256 and 512gb model. Only space grey for 512gb, the rest all silver.

how much best denki is selling?

airport apple shop is cheap sia, without GST....

Best Denki is $1488 and $1888, same as other retailers. Now retailers just slash price at their shops, used to be slash only during IT shows.

Apple did not slash the price at their online store, nor do they have refurbished MacBooks. Maybe they discreetly told resellers to sell at that price though.

Best Denki gave me a keyboard protector, sleeve and Macally USB-C adapter. With 3% rebate by Best Denki credit card, quite a good deal.

Apple refurbished store Sng all the while do not have MacBook 12-inch for sell since day one. This is not surprised. Maybe there is not so much sales in MacBook that they have refurbished units to sell. As U.S. does have it.

Apple never sell outdated MacBook online so 2015 offered units will never sell online. So do not expect any offered price older model brand new units online.

Retailers sell older models in store with apple official offered which is something very common as it is to clear the existing stocks. Just that early 2015 seems to have more remaining stocks in store than any other models like air or pro.

I bought the 256gb gold. Wanted to get from Challenger Funan @ $1,408 but only left silver. Sian.. If not for the last gold unit at Best Denki GWC, I will have gone for the 2016 model, 256GB but upgrade the processor to 1.3Ghz. Was considering between gold and rose gold, then chanced upon the last unit during my lunch.

Honestly, this 2015 MacBook isn't as slow as I worry it will be. In fact, for surfing net, checking emails and some Microsoft Office applications, it works fine. Doesn't feel any lag.

Check again carefully, the markings are very faint. Took me another look to spot it.

Oh wow u have fantastic eyesight! I finally found it after searching for a while. So unnoticeable.

I think I took one of the last sets of Gold from Funan Challenger. Wanted Gray actually, but sold out.

512GB one 2015 model still got stock at challenger funan? color availability?

Yup, surprisingly even the base 2015 model of macbook (1.1 GHz) works perfectly fine without lag at all. I had owned the mid 2015 MacBook pro with dedicated graphic card previously (real powerhaus). However, the base model also did not really fail my expectation. It is really snappy in terms of performance no matter in Mac OS X or Windows 10 (boot camp).

if m5 or m7 or even 2016 version, it should be real superb in performance i guess.

Just that if upgraded to m7 or buy the m5 model, it will be same cost as the highest spec macbook pro which is a real powerhaus machine already.

They have space grey for the 512gb. Do call them to check availability before heading down.

The only Mac devices that I was disappointed are my 1st MacBook in 2005 and 1st MacBook Air 11". The base model is really slow.

Once a while, I will use iPhoto to create videos of my toddler, on my MBA 2013. Is it OK to switch to MB?
