[SIC] Macbook (2015)

Once a while, I will use iPhoto to create videos of my toddler, on my MBA 2013. Is it OK to switch to MB?

but video or photo editing, it is usable if u do it on macbook for light usage such as u have no choice to edit/do it on the go. Else, macbook pro will be a much better choice for that purpose.

They have space grey for the 512gb. Do call them to check availability before heading down.

The only Mac devices that I was disappointed are my 1st MacBook in 2005 and 1st MacBook Air 11". The base model is really slow.

ic. actually i bought the base 2015 model because i planned to buy another new skylake macbook pro when it is out since i use this macbook as my secondary device eventually, so i can save a bit on the cost. else if i am using it as my main machine, i would probably go for 2016 m7 512GB version that costs about $2407. As this model basically has more than the power of the 2015 13-inch i5 macbook air model.

i think ram and ssd makes a big different. like macbook comes with 8gb ram and SSD, these are the reason why given that lower powered processor, it still can make the performance so snappy.

Same here. I'm waiting for the new MBP Retina 15", hoping that the rumour of a new design is true. Else will just stick to my currently MBP Retina 15" or MBA 13". The MBA without the retina screen and thick bezel looks really ancient.

Got this MacBook to temporary scratch the itch, but was pleasantly surprised. Now looking for accessories to match. Found quite a few good deals online. Those selling at Nubox, Epi etc really chop carrot, and are not really what I needed.

ya macbook air is thin and light but the bezel and the lousy screen is really annoying. the new macbook 12-inch looks a lot nicer.

did u install the bootcamp on ur macbook? how's the battery life of it?

so far for accessories, i only got the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter which i think it is really essential to have for projection, power and usb port at the same time.

planning to get the dbrand skin for it to protect the body of the macbook. but currently no discount, maybe wait for discount time only get it. sometimes 25% discount like that.

i think the most crucial part to protect is the polished apple logo, as it is easily scratch-able. did u protect it?

Looks cooler and easier to carry than a cable adapter.

My concern is the polished apple logo too, but if you apply a skin over it, it won't look as good. So most likely not going to protect it. For the moment, I like it thin and sleek. If it gets scratched, then will most likely paste a decal over it.

I see.i will be heart pain if the polished logo kena scratch, my iPad mini 3 polished logo behind has already been scratched even I protect it very hard.

There are actually many usb c accessories around, I just worry that the compatibility or durability issues.
