One of the reason that is holding me back for the upgrade..

Based on Win 7 with some changes here and there + i dont really like the tiles ui(Hate it when i was using a WP7.5 device)..

aka...when U are entering your credit card and billing address information.
You should see the field to throw in the promo code.

If you have not reach the part of billing address...then most likely the price is still 50bucks..

Just take note when U are pressing the NEXT button

Also, non legit copies of Windows 7 activated via SLIC injection qualifies for the upgrade. I encourage people who have been using non legit copies of Windows 7 to take advantage of the US$39.99 offer to convert to a legit copy of Windows 8. It’s really cheap for a fully featured OS.
