Sick on/before Enlistment Day?

So jialat... Tomorrow enlisting to Tekong for BMT, but last night I fell sick(flu, fever). Going to see doctor later, most likely will get some MC.

I've been reading around, people generally advise not to miss first few days(admin stuff). Just go to some medic place and "endorse" my MC?

Anyone got any advice? Like did this happen to you/someone you know, how did you/they deal with it?

And more importantly, how do I not give off the impression of chao keng? Like seriously first day already reporting sick...
