Seems like CIMB Fastsaver fuss free, better IR but then you must keep $1K. Decent choice to put $75K, but need to see other IR like Maybank iSavvy and Hong Leong iSavings first IMO

Does HL iSavings support FAST transfers out? I can't find the information on the website.

Confirmed with the HL thread: https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/126800117-post94.html
50K FAST limit. Need a token. No mobile app though.

Both HL and SIF are in the ABS's list of FAST participants.

Hmm, i cant find sif in the fast participants list. Faq also states that crediting in is by giro.

I also didn't see SIF on FAST participant list. They are classified as finance institution and not bank.

SIF has been around for at least half a century. Being a finance company which does not offer services like banks, they would usually offer higher deposit rates than banks. They lends mostly to SME.:)

This account is referring to SIF's GIRO-SAVER account (hence, only allows GIRO transfers; interest being 1.1%).

So it is different from the GoSavers account.

"You can now FAST (Fast and Secure Transfer) funds transfer online from participating banks to your GoSavers Account instantly."
Source(FAST):
https://www.sif.com.sg/fd-online.php

Also under FAQs (Getting Started) Q1:
"You can enjoy the mobile e-services with the convenience of a digital token, perform FAST funds transfer for free and view your account balances in one single page. SIF Mobile is available for both iOS 9+ and Android OS 5+ version."

Seems like a good alternative after CIMB drop their interest on 15 Jul. Do they credit in interest monthly like CIMB?

https://www.sif.com.sg/terms_n_conditions.php

4. INTEREST
Interest in the Savings Account will be calculated at the Finance Company's prevailing interest rate on the daily balances. The interest will be credited to the Savings Account on the last day of each month or when the Account is closed.
Interest will only be paid if the daily balance exceeds the prevailing minimum amount prescribed by the Finance Company from time to time.
