SIGN ON ADF SPECIALIST

Hey guys! I hope all of you are doing well.
In any case I hope all you lao jia NSF/NSmen/Regulars can help this chao haven'tevenenlistyetwannatalksomuch recruit here.

I'm currently doing my last two months of my NITEC in ITE, and having a interest in the army; I had called the ARC in regards to a particular vocation, the ADF. (And before yall cringe at the word sign on, ya la I know the repercussions and all.) I had call the ARC clerk (he damn brother one) about joining as an ADF trooper, as my friends told me with NITEC I cannot sign as a spec, or smt like that la I don't know. But to my suprise he told me that I was more than qualified to Be an ADF trooper (I not hao lian ah i sumpah this one I didn't know) and told me to sign as an ADF SPEC instead.


Kk long story short
- I'm direct enlisting to tekong next year jan, but with that said would someone be as kind as to tell me what batch will I be jumbled in? Standard la enhance la whatever la.

-I heard nitec recruits don't do sit test or smt, so if I sign on will I go for that test? Or zoom zoom straight to SCS?

-oh ya clerk told me to sign when I enlist cus sibeh rush for them. (Some useless information for y'all)

"Standard" is associated with "leadership.
"enhanced" is associated with "PTP"

You will most likely be standard batch given your education level. Enhanced or PTP depends on whether u pass pre enlistment ippt or not.

Wassup bro, thanks for the reply. ya I passed my Napfa and got a silver. Walao eh like that the moment I board the ferry I have to tell the Spec I wanna sign on, and prob get marked in the process hahahahaha

Your BMT intake depends on your medical (PES) and physical fitness (PTP/Enhanced) and educational qualifications (Standard/Leadership).

Only BMT (Leadership) will undergo SIT Test.

There will be recruitment talks during BMT. If you wish, you can raise your interests earlier to your commanders, who will be in a better position to advise you accordingly.

ADF trooper mean CFC rank & below (Man) for all your years of service. The different between ADF Spec & normal Spec is ADF hard to get promotion which mean most likely you are still a 3SG after 5 years of service. Normal Spec will start as 3SG & a year later will become 2SG. If you are ok with conduct & performance, you will most likely be a SSG after 5 years of service. I will chose normal spec over ADF any point of time.

If you sign on as Normal Sepc, you will go SCS after BMT. As for ADF Spec, I am not sure cause I hear some will remain as man until you are near ORD then sent you for SCS.

BMT there will be recruitment talk , you can express your interest to join the Army , but subjected to approval . No "bro" or whatever clerk can tell u that u are qualified or not . You sign but that does not means u will get it .

You zoom in to SCS does not means you will sure pass the course . There are certain standards that a regular need to perform in order to pass SCS on top of just passing the veto factors itself

Thank you for your reply sir. ADF is not my first choice. I applied for EWOS. However the recruiter told me that only 'IPPT Gold' can apply for EWOS. My ippt is silver. I only can apply for the ADF position.

If people here say can, you sign ADF, end up cannot revocate, you blame them?

If people here say cannot, you end up not signing ADF, but in reality can, you regret?

If you can make it to ADF Infantry Leader, why you cannot make it in normal Infantry Leader?

I think they smoke you and maybe they only interested to hire 'smarter' people who have Higher Nitec rather than Nitec level even if the requirement is just GCE N.

Try talk to talk to them to find out the true.
