Signing On Commando, would like advices

hey bros out there, my BMT is about to finish, gonna pop on 11jan and after much consideration,
i have decided to sign on commando warrant officer scheme with the intent of getting into sof. seem like a tall tale, but i dont really have a plan on what to do after army, cant rely on parents forever.

I like of fond of the army lifestyle as in a way or another it teaches alot of disciple and that the fact that im only good in PT.

Any bros got any golden advice or story to share? thanks in advance

Tiagong best if you have degree even in army, though u signed on warrant officer scheme.

I dont know if commandos work this way but usually you sign on as a man, they send you to SCS to be a specialist first. If top 5/10% they let you cross over to OCS. For your scheme i dont know if you can cross over or not but its best that you can cross since the WOSPEC Corps are always below the officers except during parade. Degree wise if your performance is good, SAF will sponsor you go get degree one no fear. my Sir degree and masters sponsor by SAF. so wayang abit more, do abit more work and TADAH! free degree and masters

If you are in Pre BMT/BMT phase, I reckon you chiong for OCS den sign on during OCS. like that you no need to pia for top percentile cadet to cross over. Nevertheless, the SOF selection is quite tedious. Commando course itself its already damn xiong not to mention SOF itself.

try to aim for ocs first, once you get in, sign on as officer is much better than warrant officer.

if your aim is to get into SOF, it will be easier if you are in commando now. During the selection phase, the commando will stick with each other and motivate one an other as the it get tougher... better than fighting the battle alone...

PT good is one thing, like soldiering is another
