They got my mother name that is why will pay visit..

Feedback is just feedback.. not necessarily need action... and I doubt what they feedback just from me will change much unless most will say so... I mean I did told them costs of living very high... then got announce will increase Home Caregiving Grant... by minister... and also increased the silver support scheme.. both my mum are receiving... but I cannot just casually say that is results of just my feedback.. but probably feedback from more people with similar issues.

I mean most people that are receiving these meaning they got an elderly that need some serious caregiving (at least for the HCG) at home, the Silver Support is for elderly who does not have enough CPF when they reach a certain age but there is a cut off point though,.. so they are almost always hit the worst by any increase of costs of living.

They are okay people lar.... I remember one of them calling me telling me about how now I can apply for Home Care Giving grant.. though they are kinda late.. as I already did so after it started for a few months.

I have an elderly at home, they are having these visits by the volunteers from these office annually is just to wayang to show the silver generation office got do something that’s all.


Most of the time is wayang abit, ask you if your elderly need any help from AIC ( Agency Of integrated care) and if they want to enroll in a AAC ( active ageing center) in the neighbourhood or if they know about how the pioneer generation/ merdeka benefits and if there are any feedbacks ( which they don’t care at all)

Good to meet them to understand all the funds you can apply eg. AIC Senior Mobility & Enabling Fund good to know when you are getting old or you have elders at home.

It is a very wide ranging thing... I think recently managed to get a new wheelchair under this scheme since the old one like breaking down already as it is like more than 10 years already...
