Lol... Me have a habit of opening up things, so here is the interior view of the waterblock.
What is interesting is that it looks like Silverstone took the pump design from corsair and the base plate from asetek. The pump is very good, its a high pressure type similar to what you see in Corsair H80i and H100i. The base plate is the same as what you will see from asetek blocks. The fins are machined. Corsair uses a knife to cut into the copper to create fins (I think they call it skivved or something like that back then...).
Base plate is soldered directly to the housing so its not removable. Overall a very good product except for lousy base. lol..
