Currently I am using a old 3g sim on 3g plan with 12GB data. My sim is quite old, and had cutted it from mini sim to micro sim. Just to check any bro know if:

Can I change a new sim from Singtel?

Will they want me to recontract?

I don't mind pay for a new sim, but as currently I am on 12GB data (old flexi lite). Scared they want me to upgrade to 4g sim and recon...

Anyone know?

no, changing sim card will not change your plan.

You can also try to ask for a new mini sim then diy cut it to become a micro sim. Free of charge this way ( I think they will only charge you for sim card if you change sim size ie. Mini to micro)

Changed my card to Nano SIM at Singtel West Mall and it's activated less than 10mins later. Or rather, it took me that long to find a quiet place to comfortably switch the SIM cards.

It's a Mini SIM that I cut to Micro, and then later tried to cut again to Nano, but it split up like 2 slices of bread. Luckily it could still work - just use the half with the metal part. :s13:

But I decided to just pay and get a proper one. :D

Any neighbourhood Ah Beng mobile shop will gladly cut the sim card using proper clipping tool for $2 :s12:

My nano sim card works just fine :s13:

Compared to paying $38 to telcos for doing the same thing .
