Hi guys I have my eyes set on doing Accounting & Finance in SIM GE UOL or RMIT. Does anyone know whats the difference between the 2 of them? I heard that UOL is more globally recognized however their grading system is based on final examinations compared to RMIT which is more project based. So far I'm leaning towards UOL due to brand recognition.

Another question is may I know how hard is it to get into the course, my gpa is not great around 2.8ish. I am also currently serving NS and have about a year left, does anyone know what I can do (books, online courses) to prepare and get myself more familiarized with Accounting so that I can have a head start? Thanks!

For UOL I don't exactly rmb if there's GPA requirement but for RMIT it's pretty much guarantee you can get in if you have the diploma no matter what GPA...I would say just apply both and see how again. You are only required to apply when the application is open for the semester when you ORD-ed..

For RMIT, if you stay out, actually you should be able to go for the part time classes and convert to full-time once you ORD.. this can only keep you safe for any school fees change that might or might not change in future... all the exemption are pretty much based on your capabilities, the required modules are pretty much essential to cover the fundamental you need to know..
