Time to keep these people honest.

Will launch a new product that will be

- very cheap
- high-speed unlimited daily plan, or 3gb cap, up to one month use.
- mifi

I think the telcos are going to take back this piece of the biz sooner than later. m1 already make the move. Though limited countries now, but will surely expand to more countries.

It still involves a partner telco in that country. It will be good for ppl who want to retain phone call ability but other than that it will be hard to fight the data sim pricing.

I think it's a better use of your data as when you are away from SIN, you can use the same data bundle overseas. And when you exceeded, You pay only the $10/G which is a steal vis a vis data Sim

After discount is $50.40.

IIJ MIO 2GB 3 months - S$48

UMobile 15days/200MB/Day - $50 (You get it in SGP)

If just for holidays wise UMobile looks better...
