go to simconnect, then the first page is some time table. it shows visiting lecture for law and mkting for 9-11 jan (thurs to sat). any of you have any idea whats that? choose one or what?

Anybody from Marketing adv 2 here? I only have 3 modules for the first semester. Is that normal?

those in adv 2 are you all able to select your modules/part of it for the first sem?

i can see 2 preset modules and have the options to select the other 2 in the 'plan' tab under my timetable.

edit: enrolleddddddd finallyyyyy. totally not user friendly but have to get used to it lol. happy schooling people

must choose meh? i got biz computing, law, marketing and some management module already eh. like, all chosen already, except for the elective i need to choose for third sem.

my friend said that jan is still holiday, only officially starts in feb. jan are all the angmoh lecturers one

oh no, for mine i think i have to choose. they sent an email to my old sim email acc, and i just saw it. i have to choose 2 more electives for sem 1 but i didn't! omg howwwwww? btw I'm in accountancy adv2.

i'm also in acc adv 2. yup you have to choose 2 more modules and plan the timetable. first sem = 2 majors preset + 2 minors/electives which u can choose.

try giving them a call tmr.

I chose ethics & accountability and sg taxation. There were no clashes though.

Maybe you can try choosing different lecture time slots and see the outcome when planning your timetable in Jan.

I guess auditing can only be chosen during our 2nd sem cos I remember there weren't any class options available when I clicked the module.

A visiting lecturers are from Australia. They are mostly the course managers of the module/subject. Most of the assignment topics are set by them. They came to Singapore to have a few lecture lessons (max 3) to the students and provide overview of the modules requirement (assignment and examination).

For normal lecturers, it is the local either full-time or part-time lecturers. They will continue the lessons/chapters where the Australia lecturers have stopped. For local lecturers, it is important to attend the lessons as they will advise on the assignment and help students to revise for the exam topics.
