hi all. just very curious and lost atm. 3rd july is when the registration for classes open. was there a previous time period to register for classes?? seems abit of a rush to register for classes on the 3rd when classes actually start on the 3rd.

Im now very blur.
missed the orientation and haven collected my student pass.
enrolled for classes yesterday and there was visiting lecture on the same day.
do we need to attend visiting lecture?
why the timetable only showing lectures?
when do i need to but the textbooks? is there online learning material(e-book? lecture slides?)

Hi,

1) You can collect your student pass at the student services office on your first day of school.

2) Yes, you have to attend the visit lectures. You may want to give a call to the school to check on timetable issues.

3) For textbook matters, you can search for the booklist in the SIMConnect portal. Click on the 'Resources' tab on the top left hand corner and search for the word 'Booklist' which is in bold and underlined. You will be able to see RMIT Business Booklist, RMIT Business Pre Order Form etc. You can purchase the textbooks from the Popular bookstore in school but the school has advised us to do so after hearing what our lecturers have to say. (As we may or may not have to buy it.)

4) The lecture notes and all other study resources can be found in Blackboard. Go to myRMIT portal > log in > myStudies > Expand any of the modules that you have enrolled in and click on the word 'BLACKBOARD'. From there you can find your notes under 'Learning Resources' under each module.
