Hi i want to know do I have any classmates in other class to if ever? I alrdy apply for logistics and supply rmit. Am I going to meet some Management rmit students? Thankyou! Oh! Is internship is compulsory?Hi all,
My first sem in RMIT is coming to an end!
Here's what to expect:
1. Orientation
Guys, do attend the orientation if you do not have any friends who are in the same course etc. The orientation allows you to make more friends and you may choose and take the same modules further. The lame stuffs you do are only for 2 days so its pretty fine haha.
2. Modules
You won't be given or allocate a class. You choose your own mods and at your preferred timing. So if you do so with your own timing and such, you will meet different people at different class. Each lecture is 3 hrs with given 15 mins break (depends on lecturer), no tutorials or whatsoever. Unsure of anything, just ask after class or email them. Most mods are project based. 50% proj, 50% exams. Trust me, you need to study. Some have mid sem test or quiz. For me marketing, there aren't any presentations so far due to big class so nothing to worry about. Choose your project mates wisely else you will have a shitty experience, either they do without you or you be the one tanking the whole ****.
3. Semester
One sem 4 modules, each mod 3 hours a week. Thats only 4 classes a week. Trust me you will definitely have abit of free time. Regardless of working part time or joining some companies, it is possible to manage your time and studies. And also, the start of the sem, the first month will be lecturers from Melbourne, to kick off the sem with intros and all (nothing much one).
And tadah. That's all I have to say. Good luck to those who are coming !
For core modules, yes you do have the chance to meet your friends from other majors. i do recommend that you plan your class together with your friends if not you're gonna be a lonely child.Hi i want to know do I have any classmates in other class to if ever?
