Can go for internship anytime, even before you start uni, but maybe the work you'll be given doesn't require much prerequisite knowledge.

SIM has some overseas internship (but limited). Otherwise, if you already have a country in mind, like China, you can Google China internships and there'll be some results.

there's no such thing as too early to go for internship.
whether companies want to accept you is another matter.

Just giving my 2 cents worth based on what I know:



Depends what is your priority. If your priority is working experience, internship tends to offer better experience + looks better on your resume as compared to temp jobs (usually admin, can't learn much)
