Hi all,

Just wondering what the min criteria to get in to sim uol business course...
Have heard rumours that gpa as low as 1.6 can qualify, some say that as long as u have the $$, it all matters, but how true is all these?

I have a local poly qualification but has low gpa with gpa 2.2 due too entering to wrong course that i have no passion in, but was keen in entering b & f uol-sim..

can anyone enlighten and give me some answers pls? Would really appreciate if you could kindly answer these doubts...

You can't take bridging course unless your poly diploma is specifically stated on UOL's list of diploma allowed for bridging and allowed exemptions for certain foundation modules..

Anyway getting accepted is one thing, whether you can do well or even pass is another thing...There are as many as 32% who failed all modules in year 1 according to UOL published statistics.

i am not very sure but i have a friend whose GPA is around the low 2.0 (i never ask the actual number as i dont want to make her feel bad)

She wanted to apply for UOL but was somehow rejected and in the end she went for RMIT.

i was told by a staff last time that UOL is first come first served as long as you have full A lvl cert and poly dip. so apply early most prob sure ok. if u apply very late even with 3+ gpa might not get in once all vacancies hv been filled up.

could it be that there's no slot due to she applying late?

Really? cos if that the case, I can put my ease down...
so even if gpa as low as 2 apply early can also apply course that they like and still get in?
