Depends, if you are taking mods like LBO then a textbook is necessary because you can bring it to the exam hall with you for reference.

Bit of a tangent but do lecturers generally allow people to take foldable bicycles into the lecture hall? I've got one that can fit into the MRT. Not sure if there's bicycle parking spaces on campus and even then not sure how safe it'd be. Thanks guys.

I once took my field pack to class , cause need to go reservist after class .. just put at a corner ... should be fine , just dont block the narrow passageway

I am taking PBF, FM, FR and Microecons

Took pbf, I used TB to supplement my notes but I focused on calculations so no point in it for me. You're better off reading on happenings and how it relates to the topics.

Taking FM and FR now. Will look at essays and prepare them with examples and evidence. Then calculations no point la, unless you use to practice.

Never take micro but econs essay usually do models easier to score.
