Hi all,
I have heard so many varying factors and differences between these two universities. For instance, RMIT is more of practical while UOL is more of theory. I have also heard that UOL is much more harder in terms of the papers, how true is that?
I am intending to pursuing a part time degree and am wondering which university will be a better choice overall. Is anybody able to clear my doubt a little? =)

I think you should already know UOL degrees are Honours Degree while RMIT are Bachelor's degrees. In matter of fact, an Honours degree is better than Bachelor's degree if u get at least a second lower class honours. If u get third class honours, a Bachelor's degree would be better and looks nicer, third class honours is utterly disgraceful. If u can study very well, an Honours degree is better. Let's say u graduated with an Honours degree, your starting pay will be abit better than those of Bachelor's degree. Honours and Bachelor's degree only affect your starting pay. Pay raise, promotion depends on your performance and experience, so a RMIT graduate may even earn more than UOL graduate if his or her performance is better.
Pursuing a part-time degree is not an easy job, even UOL full time has high dropout rates, what do u think if u do part time? And let's say u do RMIT part-time, how do you cope with projects and studies if you are working and studying, the time you meet up with friends for projects are so hard to find. Of course, if u can manage your time well, why not.
I have a few friends studying UOL degrees. They say it's very tough and when i asked them whether they can get second upper and lower class honours? They told me passing is already a problem. This shows how difficult it is. I also heard it's very difficult to make friends there, after class everyone just goes home. I don't have friends studying RMIT degrees, so i don't know how difficult they are also.
