I'm on the $10 plan second month. No issue hotspot.

Guess most likely configuration issue.

May I ask how's your hotspot's speed? Any difference with trial?

1. Hotspot from phone no different

2. If using the sim on 4G router / Mifi / Dongle speed is same as hotspot on phone. Last time trial will cap speed at 512kbps to 1 mbps on trial sim. Now no more Bandwidth throttling

If you’re on trial plan (XL Unlimited), using on MiFi will be heavily throttled.
Using paid plan (50GB plan), speed on MiFi will not be throttled.

Did a few test... This is as below. Not super fast good enough for surfing and watch netflix.

The free trial sim card is very heavily throttled

still pondering, recent frequent slow down of speed of trial service make me hesitate to sign up.

Currently no different from Trial if you using it on mobile/tablet.

Maybe need to wait until JUNE when a lot trial user disconnect their sim.

If you initiate the switchover, I think it’ll be 4 days later. But I’m not sure, I haven’t switch yet

It’s not login based on email address, it’s based on your username when u signup the line.

hm..so long ago also forget what i use for which number.

tried email and manage to go in and only got 1 number


So how is the consensus on which telco to port to?

I see my republic 6gb unlimited at 10 dollar seems attractive enough, is there any other better choices?

An alternative to MyRepublic $10 is giga $10 plan, 5GB data with rollover data.

Just $5 cheaper. Some Challenger store (before **) was selling TP link 4G MiFi M7200 @ $65.

I rmb for the first batch, signup was done with email add which eventually becomes the username. I have 2 accounts. One using email add and another using username/id.
