It was stated in SIMBA website to be
- Billed $39 every 90 days, after initial $30 for 90 days
- Plan Bundle resets every 30 days

So the current cycle expiry refers to the plan bundle.

I'm planning to switch my main line from Singtel to Simba.

Boils down to two $10/month plans: 50+50GB and MY130.
I look them over and over but I cannot find a single thing that says MY130 is not the more value for money plan.
Did I overlook something??

So MY130 plan is 130GB every month? As in 130GB quota will reset every 30 days?
Bill is $30 every 90 days, or $10 every 10 days?

There ARE DIFFERENCES between SIMBA 100GB & SIMBA MY130 mobile plans.

SIMBA SIM only 100GB
+ 50GB (+50GB until further notice) local mobile data
+ 1GB roaming data to 57 countries
+ 300mins local calls to fixed lines
+ 30 SMS to non-SIMBA telco mobile numbers
- DOES NOT have any included overseas IDD call mins
* $10 every 30 days.

SIMBA SIM only MY130
+ 130GB local mobile data
+ 10GB roaming data to Malaysia ONLY (no roaming data to any other additional country)
+ 500mins local calls to fixed lines
+ 50 SMS to non-SIMBA telco mobile numbers
+ 100mins IDD calls to Malaysia ONLY
* One time payment of $30 for first 90 days. $39 for 90days thereafter.

Both above SIMBA plans HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
+ Unlimited calls to local mobile numbers
+ Unlimited SMS to SIMBA mobile numbers
+ FREE incoming calls
+ FREE Caller ID
+ All SIMBA users can make IDD calls to any country on pay-per-use basis.

All the above detailed info on SIMBA mobile plans can can be found on this SIMBA Web page:
https://www.simba.sg/cis
Hope the above helps.

Since you went down to the Service Centre, you never ask their staff?

Have you tried accessing the following link?
www.simba.sg/preaccount

Log in to www.simba.sg/preaccount through your smartphone with your SIMBA prepaid SIM card inserted and (you can) do the following:

  • Perform a one-time recharge (renewal/ excess usages)
  • Buy plan

The bundle mentioned resets every 30 days, while billing is 90 days for MY130, 30 days for 50GB SIM Only.

The 100GB local data is valid until "further notice", after which should go back to 50GB.
It is 50GB base + 50GB Promo.

MY130 is full 130GB Local data, not promotional.

My 1G free roaming almost finished but I m still overseas. Can I top up roaming data? Or I just continue to use and wait for bill to come?

Topup into the SIMBA Wallet. Pay Per Use rates from $4/GB (in blocks of 10MB) deductible from Wallet.

If wallet have $0, roaming data will be cut.

edit: Turns out I blamed the wrong person...that is literally the design from DBS themselves. Well done to them.

Think they were scammers from the south but found more lucrative opportunities here and applied their skills accordingly...

Currently in Australia now. The roaming is not working for me, not just data but there is no connection to any of the local telcos to even receive SMS. It was fine a few days back but not sure why the connection dropped out.

Any one know how to resolve it?
