Noob question: Is my CC auto-deducted for monthly bill payment for the 50GB postpaid plan?

Or do I have to top up account credits every month?

Hi guys, can ask you all…

About the 50 GB plan with free 1GB roaming data, assuming Ive used up, and if I need to use more just keep on using and the billing will be $4 per GB right? :)

You need to have credits in your account. Otherwise data will cease.
I used up all of my 1GB while in Malaysia and had to find ways to top-up my account which was $0 at that time.
Shortly after I topped up, data started to work again.. but SIMBA seemed to deduct my credits per mb.
I did not wait to find out if the limit is at $4 per GB as after using around 200MB, about $2~ was deducted.
I switched to a local SIM card thereafter.

I'd love to find out if the limit is at $4 per GB too.

For people who just port in and unable to make voice calls,
Try keying in your keypad * # * # 86583 # * # *.
Easy to remember: 86583= VOLTE.
You should see "Carrier VOLTE check was disabled". Not sure why it should be "disabled" to use VOLTE.
The command should enable/disable VOLTE on your phone.
I did this to all 5 port in numbers with no issues as some phones seem not to have a user interface to turn on VOLTE.

So far roaming in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia with no issues.

Question:
1) Anyone tried to roam in the U.S.? How's the coverage?
2) Anyone tried VOLTE phone calls from overseas? We have 300mins talk time. (No need to use Whatsapp.)

Are you saying uwb depends on sim card? I subscribed to 50gb only sim plan from Simba. When I access the settings and under connection, I couldn't see the uwb toggle. So I am confused.

I don't think u understand what uwb is. Uwb depends on devices, not your teleco. Do Bluetooth need sim card to support?

Just did a speed test this morning at home. Download 60 Mbps and upload 6 Mbps. Upload speed tend to be slow but it's not that critical unless you're doing lots of backup. I think download speed of 10 Mbps will be good enough for video streaming.

Yes it's a pain that some phone manufacturers don't support SIMBA. I know somebody who bought a Oneplus phone this year and can't use VoLTE and there's no override code or workaround similar to xiaomi phone, hence got to use the simba voice app. The app works fine though. I guess it's all down to commercial reason why some phones don't support certain network as explained by another member here earlier.

Another question: when you're overseas, is anyone able to call your Simba number? I've been to quite a few countries and did some tests but the call just doesn't come through. What's wrong? Although I've to say this can be a good thing cos i won't be bothered by spam or scam calls when I'm overseas. Haha
Android phones still have it okay as you don't need a phone number to activate with Google account

Heard some iPhones can't activate Apple ID with SIMBA's new numbers

Thanks, but no. I have way too many SIMBA credits to not change for years.

Changing telco means I forfeit those credits.

you loaded for the whole year during national day ah ?:s14:

USA data roaming is ok.

I've only managed to make outgoing call from overseas using the Simba voice app but not the direct dial method. I've never managed to activate volte on my xiaomi phone overseas although I can do it in sg. Also i can't receive any incoming call when I'm overseas. Anyone got the same experience?

SMS is working right. Only cannot call without VoLTE.
