Anyway,

Super flawless and fast porting process from Giga to SIMBA! Downtime was less than 10 minutes,

1230 hrs: Picked up and activated the new SIMBA SIM card with Porting option.
2355 hrs: My Giga cell signal was ceased.
0001 hrs: My SIMBA cell signal appeared and Port-In number took effect.

For me,
Giga signal was ceased at 23:10 hrs.
Simba signal with my port-in number exist at 23:40 hrs.

However, I noticed that at my home the mobile data network signal is quite weak, 2 to 3 bars.
Luckily, I can still rely on my home wifi.
This morning I also encountered no service at home then back to low signals bars.
I have not try using it out of my home, hopefully no issues encounter.

The data roaming Pay-per-use is payable only via wallet?

What if the monthly bill is recurring card payment? Still have to go through the wallet method?

I think so can deduct from our registered CC without topping up the SIMBA Wallet.

The Pay-Per-use's fees should be accumulative and not interactive. So, I don't see why cannot use CC even if the Wallet is zero!

Anyway, I haven't double checked with the customer services yet.

At least you managed to have 3 to 4 bars.
But for my home, sometimes no service or as low as 2 bars.

However, I went out of home just now and the signals seem to be pretty good outside.
I even paid my food using PayNow without any problems.

For me, good for outdoors but poor for indoor (my home).

BTW, you have to login via SIMBA webby to register / Add your CC. The SIMBA App itself doesn't has that "Add CC" option.

You have to login via SIMBA webby to register / Add your CC. The SIMBA App doesn't has that "Add CC" option.

So, I am figuring how to purchase roaming data (RD) with my cc.
I am so used to Giga's app for my past RD purchases using cc.
Hence, I was expecting Simba's app also have similar features too.
Even through Simba's website, I also cannot find the source to purchase RD using cc.

Ok, I have written to Simba earlier and attached below is their reply.

Recurring payment in this case is referring to payment by credit card.

In short, need to top up wallet for roaming data.

Oh yes. My friend told me to download Simba VOICE app. With this app, you can make phone calls using data and you can make normal phone calls.

What this means is unlike whatsapp calls where you can only call another person with WhatsApp, with this Simba VOICE app, you can even call your office or home, as long as you have data. I have tried it. It works. Reception not perfect but i managed to call and i still had my free 300 minutes of call

What this also means is that if i were overseas, i can call home to my home number for free if let's say i have access to WiFi or i still have data from my 1gb a month allowance. No need what idd rates

So if I use the voice app using my bundle roaming data or using wifi,I can call Singapore number without extra charges?that's wonderful

Haven't tried it yet but that's what my friend told me. Voice call works. But i haven't gone overseas yet.

Just a while ago, I was trying to place an online order.
Unfortunately, it could not checkout because I cannot receive the OTP due to low mobile data signals.
Eventually after several attempts, I then managed to confirmed the online order.
Wa biang! this is quite tiring and furthermore it is just the starting of my subscribership.
