Just went over to their Service Centre @ New Upper Changi Road to enquire about eSIM and the staff there told me SIMBA doesn't offer SIMBA.

Told him to check out SIMBA website and he says he wasn't aware of it and ask me to try checking out their Service Centre @ Orchard or Kaki Bukit.

So now 2 telcos offers eSim (not factoring the mvnos as they are not full fledged telco). M1 and Simba respectively.

This will shake up the competition, the new apple phone 15 series might finally remove sim card slot for more markets, singapore included. This will probably make singtel and starhub to quickly introduce esim before it launches.

What's the esim upside ?

Do you need involved the operator when you change phone ?
I think u just need to keep the QR code and scan into the new phone. Good for local iPhone with only one physical slot.

It's esim good? It'd be difficult to swap phones no?
Need to pay $5 for new devices. In the case of emergency user will be stuck. There is still no eSIM for watches, using the same number.

Your SIMBA eSIM profile is non-transferable. Any change in device will require a new QR code. You may walk into any SIMBA Service Centre and request for a new eSIM QR Code. A $5 fee will apply.

Can piu a minimum of $200 for a nice SIMBA number. 🤗😋.

The other day, I got a nice random number starting with 88 and ending with 77! :)
