If you guys are on SIMBA, having 5G is like adding spoilers to a black Vios. Cool but totally pointless, don’t need to panic if you don’t have a 5G phone on SIMBA. You aren’t losing out on much.
At least Simba didn't charge for the spoiler

Other telcos spoiler either every month need to pay maintenance fee so that it won't fly off the highway or is made with titanium with DRS that the telco can open and close as and when they like

Hi all,

Just wondering which telco would anyone recommend?

Looking for a port over from GOMO 5g currently, looking for another telco with good reception mainly and roaming. Previous was m1 Maxxx which was horrendous. GOMO is great, but they dont let me change to the neighbours plan so im looking for any other recommendations to port over?

Just wondering how is Simba's network coverage in singapore and malaysia.

Many thanks

When it comes to good coverage, SIMBA comes in last place. Stick to your GOMO 5G.

I switch to Simba from Gomo. Coverage for Simba definitely not as good as Gomo. The deal-breaker for me was Simba offer voice roaming and idd which is inclusive in the SuperRoam Max plan. Gomo can't support voice roaming when overseas which is painful to say the least.

if I’m mostly in the town and city area, can I assume Simba coverage is ok?

usually bad coverage are the ulu places?

Hi!

Just (tried to) port in to Simba, previous sim (myrepublic) became inactive last night 11pm, as per expectation. Now next morning my Simba sim still says "emergency calls only". Anybody had this experience? How to fix? (Current phone samsung A54)

I knew Simba was going to be a downgrade, but didn't expect it to fail on me so early in the process.....

Have u tried restarting the device, check your APN or call them to check? way too early to play the blaming game.

Yes checked APN, rebooted, reinserted sim. Where can I call them? No phone no on their website anywhere.

And about blame game, did a handful of number porting over the years and they're always smooth. So it's definitely a minus point for them since this needs so much "effort" to get done.

Hi everyone, I ported over to SIMBA on 12 Sep and since then I cannot receive OTPs from OCBC, UOB and Apple. I did receive OTPs from Singpass and Diners Club. Emailed SIMBA, no response yet. Called OCBC and they said their SMS server working fine. Any advice?

I managed to contact SIMBA via fb msg and email. The OTP issue is now resolved with a slight delay in receiving OTP from OCBC.

Try dropping them a email or FB.

Another question in the meantime: still don't understand their billing process. Will my monthly subscription charges be charged to my CC, or do I need to top up that wallet thing and then they'll take it from there?

When you registered/ported-in did you declare your Credit Card? If you did, then monthly will be from the card.

So if my daughter smart watch does not have VoLTE, it means the watch cannot call or recv normal voice call?

Does Simba work on Samsung watch 5 lte?

I don’t need it to be like numbershare (both phone and watch use the same number)

I am willing to get another Simba line just for the watch.

Thanks in advance

Same issue when I port-in from MyRepublic back in May. Their CS is in FB/IG messenger.

But I confirm remember choosing MyRepublic at the port-in section. I believe they mixed up MyRepublic 4G and 5G since they are on different networks.
