Hi, just checking with anyone who had experience with the free IDD minutes in some of the plans.
So if I am overseas in one of the supported destinations, eg Malaysia, will calling another overseas supported destination, say USA, be deducted from those IDD minutes.
Will receiving a call from USA in Malaysia be deducted from the IDD minutes or will it be free, as per "free incoming international calls"?

According to their website ;
You can enjoy incoming international calls and SMS for free. Your usage will be deducted as follows:

  • If you are overseas and making a call to a local line in the destination you are in, the deduction will be made from your IDD minutes.
  • If you are overseas and making a call to a landline in Singapore, the deduction will be made from your fixed line minutes.
  • If you are overseas and making a call to a mobile line in Singapore, there will be no deduction. The service is free of charge.

Otherwise, outgoing international calls are available from 1¢ per 30 seconds, and 10¢ per SMS for outgoing international SMS. For more information, please refer to www.simba.sg/IDD.

Anyone recently went Tokyo using Simba roaming data? How was it. I just signed up for the $12 package that gives 5gb of international data roaming. Going for a short business trip there. Previously have been using Singtel roaming with no issue. Not sure if Simba can be depended on, in Tokyo.

Switching to eSIM is also irreversible I guess? Can I confirm if I get incoming calls and sms from both SIM and eSIM on the iphone?

Which mrt line and which sector?

East West Line, Tiong Bahru to Outram Park sector, all the 4 Telcos is very weak.

Can't remember but once I went to work in a deep underground area, my simba network was cut off totally but my colleagues' giga still can detect

Hi, needed some advice regarding my dad simba line.
He is using Redmi 11 Note with Simba sim and often get no network (Emergency call) error.

May I know was it due to Phone compatible issue or the line got issue?
Staying Tampines.
