Go try SS Commonwealth. In the past no Singtel network unless near the cashier counters/entrance. The other day, no network at all even when I was there (checking out the Want2 bags).

Simba had connection all the way inside.

Edit: @mosmos I only noticed Simba had connection because I'd my AirPods on one afternoon right inside, when I took out my phone to check something online. Then I realized my music wasn't cut off (unlike previously with Singtel line), and I could also check my online stuff. (My Hotlink card roaming on Singtel had no line.)

The 2nd time I went to check on Want2 🤭 I was near the cashier counters when I took out another phone to check something then realized no line. Yup, Singtel line. So I'd to dig into my backpack for my Simba-line phone.

A couple of friends living in the area also said their phones couldn't be used in there. "Pioneer" Singtel users.

Tbh easier for you to compile which areas are working well. Dead zones are definitely more than ok zones

To be fair, all operators have dead zone here and there. Zone is dead, we are mobile.

*PS, no need to comment "what if its an emergency and you are unable to move". Then i would say , you time is probably up.

I was with 3 Simba and 1 Eight yesterday afternoon till late evening across the causeway, all auto-roaming and could even receive OTP, and queue number.

No missing connection so far.

Apple devices.
Thinking whether to port my mom’s line over to Simba ($5 senior) or Eight ($8). She frequents JB often. Since you are on both plans, do you notice any difference in the telco auto-switching connectivity when you cross the causeway ?

I am on Eight myself and it auto switches to My Maxis once I’m near JB customs, quite impressed with that.

SIMBA also auto switch to Celcom when nearing JB custom.

My Eight auto connected to U Mobile, while Simba to Celcom. Maxis/Hotlink hasn't seem to be performing in recent months, so I'd personally choose Simba over Eight.

A quick question, does anyone on Simba and using cellular data, to do a google search and got back Malaysia results.

For e.g. I search “fwd term life insurance” it pops up fwd in .my domain. lol.

of course I can search with fwd term life insurance Singapore, but it seems like simba is tag to a Malaysian geolocation where search results are catered for Malaysia.

So wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

No, there's a 30-day obligation for you to stay with them, otherwise got to pay $30 penalty.
I'm on superroam25 in my 1st mth.. if I changed my plan to superroam10 on my 2nd mth.. do I need to pay for the 30 bucks penalty if I port out?

As long as below 2 months IIRC.
Also note that you number needs to be non-special/lucky number.
Otherwise, need pay off too.
