Anyone try porting over from CMLink to TPG? I couldn’t find CMLink during selection of network to port over from during the online registration

CMlink is Singtel. So maybe can select Singtel.

Can newer Android phones work with TPG Volte? I asked their customer support for an updated list of supported devices, but they informed me the list last updated in 2019 is the latest ..

Dang, was thinking of an getting Oppo A15s for my aunt. But not sure if it works on TPG's network or not.

As long as the phone has the 2 required 4G bands.. it can be used but the tricky part is whether the VoLTE on the phone is compatible with TPG's VoLTE for calls anot.. but even if it's not... u can just install TPG's voice call app and u can make calls le..

I prefer native calling function for my aunt, as I don't think she will be used to using the voice app for calling

For my mum's phone I dragged away the native phone app and replaced the TPG call app at the exact same spot and just told her to use the TPG app.

my redmi note 4 automatically terminate TPG call app when the phone is idle , and the phone can't receive call, can only call out.

whatsapp and the stock phone app don't have this problem.

so it is better to get phones with VOLTE

No,I don't need the app at all. As long as I turn on volte function on my hp will do already.

if you have problems connecting with it, delete the wireless sg app and install it again.

This time answer no when it asks for whether you have singapore number.

Yesterday afternoon collect tpg sim card ,the guy say i will reveice a email state i port in date and time .
But till now no email send to me.
anyone port in to tpg also same as me need to wait and wait?

I put in the porting request on Sunday, collected the SIM card after lunch yesterday, and line was activated sometime last night while I was sleeping.

Was told while collecting the SIM card that it'd normally take 1 or 2 working days, if there's no hiccup.

Received a porting in-progress email after I collected the SIM card, then a $0 invoice past midnight. SMS on successful porting received a couple of hours after that.

I already put the SIM card into the phone before I went to bed, with all settings done, since the slot was empty anyway.
