Noob here. I signed up Simba 300gb $5 data only plan for trial. I can't remember if i provided my CC details during sign up, but am surprised to see a renewal deduction on 27 May on my CC. I am under the impression that we need purchase the topup manually similar to eight. Can advise? Thanks!

When you're signing up, you're given the option to save the same card for recurring payments. You probably did, thus they're able to deduct.

I presume you've input your email address as well. Go to Simba Login on browser to create a password to log in. From there you'll be able to see details of your account, including your card info which you can then edit...and maybe delete.

Thanks, u r right, i can see my card details on browser but NOT on the app hence i nv think of it as recurring. I can only change the CC but cannot delete it. ☹️

Thanks. Hmmm... But i apply the sim card physically at pasir ris mall. So the billing is recurring and not manually recharge?

• The Service is at $5.00 for 30 days. The first payment is for registration and initial subscription. The recurring charges of each cycle are payable in advance of the next plan cycle from your default payment method on file or from your SIMBA wallet.

Telco have a CIS (critical information summary) that explains mostly everything about the plan if you are unable to find more details on their webpage

purchase the topup manually similar to eight
FYI, eight is also recurring, with topup as another option for those who wants to do that

But like others also mentioned, you probably at some point added your card in.
Cause if you signed up physically and assuming you paid cash, your card shouldn't be in the system

If you want to know how it happen, probably the best would be to get in touch with SIMBA CS.
See if they are able to check when the card was added in as there should be some basic records / logs

If you didn't provide your card info for payment when you signed up in person, something must be very wrong. They shouldn't have known nor got the card info to put into your account.

Payment is always recurring for such an account, just that they'll deduct from the wallet if you've funds inside, otherwise gone to check for card info.

Had to use dual sim, both simba, in Malaysia. Use the data on my 2nd sim, set to u mobile, as celcom is slow at every location I go in Malaysia including jb...

Only bad thing is that umobile sometimes will lose network connection. But since I have 2 simba sim, my main will be auto, 2nd will be fixed to umobile manually, and if umobile sudden lose network, it will fallback on my main simba celcom.

Just tested, at same location, sitting down in open space.
Celcom is 115 down, 12.5 up,167 Ping.
Umobile is 193 down, 106 up, 35 Ping.

But loading this forum alone, celcom takes much longer. Umobile is almost instant.

Playing non intensive online game like Last War, celcom lags when tap to collect resources. Umobile works flawlessly.

This is my test results using s25 ultra, various parts of Malaysia, from Johor to Cameron Highlands to Genting.

Don't forget to set the APN as well, before restarting the phone. Ya, tomorrow after 9 or even 10am.

I set APN for all options.

Thanks. This works.
However, now got new problem. Using eight mobile to try calling this new port in line from Giga, it says that the starhub line is no longer in use. But use other service like M1 and SingTel to call, all can go through. Wondering if this is a starhub to starhub problem. Anyone also encountered when port in?

Simple. Change to another card which you keep locked up, or to a virtual card which you then delete.

Since I changed to a 5G phone the reception becomes much better.

And for those places with no or very weak 4G reception the 5G signals have no issues.

simba roaming partner celcomdigi
To be more specific, Simba has 3 roaming partners. Celcom, U Mobile, and Digi.

It just happens that Celcom and Digi have merged and the new company's name is CelcomDigi.

I believe the network will either show Celcom or Digi (or U Mobile), but not CelcomDigi.

Could be the reason why he got confused... (Not that he couldn't read or anything like that.)

Listed as 3 separate operator names.
