I understand that EPL is the one service which brings people to StarHub TV (and previously SingTel TV).

But I guess the number of EPL viewers who are willing to pay for Starhub/Singtel TV EPL Package will reduce along the way. I don't think the teenagers are that interested in EPL now.

Note 1: I do not care about EPL myself.

Note 2: some users use Paid VPN Service and cheaper overseas EPL subscription to watch EPL from Singapore.

Note 3: some EPL fans may give up too due to the high cost of EPL package. I've seen some colleagues dropped EPL package.
Ya, StarHub too expensive, your colleagues probably use vpn alike me. Earlier watching Sunderland vs Everton match.

Hmm, this ads can apply to all telcos with $10 and below plans. The comparison it makes with MNOs plans with phone package are outdated and irrelevant. Eight, Zym, Zero1, Vivifi, MR (not consider 12mths promo plans and CL here which is very unpredictable with their terminology of forever) all has <$10 plans. 🤣

Simba $10 plan surfing non stop from Buona Vista station to Raffles Place now into Somerset...

No good meh?

Latest iPad Mini latest iOS. :look:

Nice.

What will happen if you are one or two hours earlier during the peak hours?

North South line CBD areas, underground, especially Orchard, seem to be the difficult spot for all networks during peak hours (say morning and evening).

Some specific group of people want 100% data throughout the entire journey, including underground (including Outram > Tiong Bahru blackhole)

I don't think anyone can really expect to get full speed for underground MRT trips, rather they want to be able to do what they usually do on the trip.

Personally I feel North South Line around Orchard is more difficult than Outram Park or Tiong Bahru. But I almost never travel at the peak period for my MRT trips.

Typical use case from a recent report:
Singtel 5G is of course better than VIVIFI 4G (SingTel MVNO). But even for the Singtel 5G Enhanced Lite plan (with "5G+ Enhanced" label, one tier higher than the S$15.28 per month Singtel SIM Only plan without the label), the user still encountered connection down issues.

Happy to report that the 19.25 plan worked rather well during this morning peak hour ride 830-9. I was able to listen to radio, read news article, Reddit, received WA. Connection broke between Bishan to Braddel which require a manual trigger to restart radio. Just leaving orchard, connection went down for like 10 secs but doesn’t require manual restart (it auto connect back).

these are vast majority improvements than compared to vivifi where I could not do any one of those single item above.

I believe most telco plans can achieve that especially during non-peak hours, just that Simba does not offer the cheapest call plans, it always remain at $10 as lowest making it less attractive than others that can go as low as $5+-$8 for best deal. I like Simba though for its Voice app but will be thrilled if it has a lower price call plan. As for your case, since you are using an iPad which has no call function, Simba $5 data plan may be a better deal? 😀
